Year 10 & 11 Rugby

Leeds East Academy  vs Garforth Academy

Last night, our mixed Y10 and Y11 rugby team faced Garforth Academy at the Leeds Rhinos Training Ground. In a close game, LEA emerged victorious, winning 24-20.

Our boys took an early lead with strong running and an excellent cross-field kick from Harvey, followed by an impressive catch by Archie in the corner. However, Garforth quickly scored two tries to take the lead.

After a team discussion, LEA tightened their slide defense and ultimately secured the win.

The team's adaptability in response to Garforth's tactics made us incredibly proud! Harvey's successful conversions played a key role in our victory.

Harvey kicked all of our conversions which secured us the game.

Well done all!
