Leeds East Academy

LEA Charity Project

At Leeds East Academy we have a reset daily behaviour modification group. This group decided to create a product they could sell in order to make money, which they could use to purchase gifts for people who wouldn’t get anything for Christmas.

The group decided to make baubles, which they could sell, and then create gift bags with; food, toiletries, gloves, hats and other essentials for the homeless.

The group made over £60.00 which allowed them to put together eight gift bags that contained; a pair of gloves, socks, a hat, coffee sachets, shampoo, shower gel, a sponge, a toothbrush, toothpaste and a box of chocolates.

They delivered these to The Crypt Homeless Shelter on Thursday 20th December, who were absolutely delighted with the donation.
